We’ve made a new feature, Chat Lock, to make your private chats even safer. When you use this:
- Locked chats move to a ”special folder”.
- You’ll need your phone password or a fingerprints to open them.
- People can’t see locked chat messages in notifications.
This is useful if you sometimes give your phone to others. To use Chat Lock, tap on a chat’s name and choose Lock. To see locked chats, pull down in your inbox and enter your device password or use your fingerprints..
Soon, you can also lock chats on other devices and choose a special chat password. Chat Lock is now available for every one User’s.
